Two People in a Boat

Here is something deeply satisfying about transforming discarded paper into something meaningful. My handmade collage greeting cards begin with found newspapers and magazines, which I carefully cut and arrange into intuitive compositions. I then add paint, chalks, and oil pastel to bring texture and colour to the surface.
Each Card is 122mm square, slightly embossed, and unique — a small piece of art crafted from materials that might otherwise be discarded.
My collage greeting cards, titled Two People in a Boat, are made by combining found newspaper and magazine clippings with original drawings and layers of paint, chalk, and oil pastel.
I work without a rigid plan, allowing each composition to emerge naturally. This process gives every handmade Card its own personality, turning recycled materials into a one-of-a-kind miniature work of art.
